Census of Agriculture Shows Growing Diversity in U.S. Farming
The number of farms in the United States has grown 4 percent
and the operators of those farms have become more diverse in the past five years, according to results of the 2007 Census of Agriculture released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS).
